Meghan Markle has sparked a fan frenzy as she carried a handbag embroidered with “Duchess of Sussex” in Montecito.

The mother-of-two went to Tre Lune, a restaurant in Montecito, with actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, famous for her role in the film Father of the Bride.

Meghan could be seen carrying a Dior black handbag, embossed with the letters “DSSOS” – an abbreviation of the Duchess of Sussex.

The royal was first spotted carrying the bag in 2021, a year after stepping back from her official royal duties.

One royal fan wrote on social media: “Weird weird weird.”

Another said: “Of course the Dior Lady Bag!”

A third commented: “She’s so predictable.”

Meghan, 42, looked casual for her visit to the restaurant while wearing a pair of £155 Ray-Ban sunglasses.

She also wore a £15,500 gold collar necklace from Cartier, and a necklace from Ariel Gordon Jewellery with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s names engraved.

The duchess donned a £245 white shirt from Anine Bing, and £154 high-rise straight jeans from La Ligne New York.

The white shirt paired with blue jeans was reminiscent of Meghan’s first public outing with Prince Harry in 2017, when she joined the Duke of Sussex at the Toronto Invictus Games.

The outfit also highly resembled Princess Diana’s white shirt and jeans that she wore to Bosnia in 1997.

The late Princess of Wales famously visited Bosnia to raise awareness about landmines with a three-day visit.

On the trip, she wore one of her most relaxed, but memorable, outfits – a white shirt, blue jeans and Tod’s loafers.

To accessorise during her outing in Montecito, Meghan wore a £28,200 gold watch from Cartier, very similar to one owned by Diana.

She also wore a £7,050 gold bangle from Cartier and a £15,975.64 bracelet from Lorraine Schwartz.

To match her engagement ring and Welsh gold wedding band, Meghan wore her diamond eternity ring band, which Harry gifted the duchess after the birth of Prince Archie in 2019.

For footwear, the duchess donned £820 ballet flats from Chanel.
