According to Medic, two separate incidents occurred in west Charlotte, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The first person was injured in a shooting, while the second sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle. Both incidents took place in the 2600 block of Sam Wilson Road.
A medical professional reported that an individual who was shot has been transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in a critical condition, facing life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. In a related event, a pedestrian who sustained serious injuries was also taken to a hospital for treatment. At this time, it remains uncertain whether there is any connection between the shooting and the pedestrian’s injuries.
