Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark wasted no time making an impact against the Dallas Wings on Wednesday.

Early in the first quarter of the contest, Clark executed a nasty play to embarrass the Wings, which had fans buzzing.

In order to get past her defender, the Fever rookie fooled Odyssey Sims by going right before doing a behind-the-back dribble and going the other way. It left Clark with plenty of open space to the rim, and the Wings couldn’t do anything else but watch her lay the ball in.

Clark hesitated for a bit and lost her balance after it looked like Wings star Arike Ogunbowale would be able to block her. However, she was still able to make the shot.

Sure enough, fans were hyped up after seeing the play. Aside from her handles, Caitlin Clark showed that she has no fear when it comes to attacking the basket.

“Caitlin Clark so cold,” a fan said.

Another one shared, “Caitlin Clark is a monster of basketball.”

“Caitlin Clark handles are crazy,” an impressed supporter furthered.

A social media user agreed and expressed disbelief, saying: “Caitlin Clark handles really goofy. Damn.”

A fifth fan shared, “Caitlin Clark with a sweet move!”

“Live POV of Caitlin Clark making her opponent dance for a tough finish,” a commenter added.

It was definitely an incredible display of skill from Caitlin Clark. The Wings headed to the contest owning the worst defense  in the WNBA, and she quickly took advantage of it.

Clark entered the game averaging 16.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. Sure enough, she came prepared to dominate.
