WNBA superstar Breanna Stewart took to social media to share a picture of herself with her New York Liberty teammate Sabrina Ionescu and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. All three athletes were taking part in the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, representing Team USA in Paris, France.

Stewart took a selfie with Ionescu and Curry and captioned it, “A lot of (bucket emoji).” They’ve each established themselves as some of the biggest stars in their respective leagues and some of the most respected athletes on the hardwood.

WNBA fans shared their reactions to the star-studded exchange, seemingly happy to see all three players together.

“Too many GOATs in one photo!” said one fan.

“Smile if you’re one of the best shooters of this generation,” said another.

“Happy to see you all enjoying Paris,” commented another.

Stewart’s post on social media has received over 19k likes and 435k views in less than two hours.

 

All three players are considered some of the most lethal scorers on the basketball court.

In Curry’s 2023-24 season, he averaged 26.4 points and 5.1 assists per game for the Warriors.

Ionescu and Stewart share the floor for the Liberty, helping New York attain the No. 1 seed in the WNBA rankings with a 21-4 record. Stewart currently averages 19.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, while Ionescu has posted 19.4 points and 6.2 assists per game.

The Liberty stars are currently on a break from their season due to the Olympic Games. Their next matchup will be against the Los Angeles Sparks on Aug. 15 at 9 p.m. ET.


Curry and the men’s Olympic team will take the court on July 28 at 11:15 a.m. ET against Team Serbia.

Ionescu and Stewart are set to face Team Japan on July 29 at 3 p.m. ET.
