Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have one of the most high-profile relationships in the world, but Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid thinks they give each other something valuable and a bit unexpected — relief from the spotlight.

The Chiefs coach opened up about the relationship between his team’s star tight end and the “Midnights” singer, saying on the Scoop City podcast that both Kelce and Swift have a chance to step back and watch the other play the star.

“I mean, [Taylor] comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show,” Reid said. “And Travis can do that; when he goes to her concerts, she’s the star.”

Swift still found plenty of spotlight as she cheered on Kelce this season, with cameras often trained on her during games. The singer did try to go incognito at times, with a recent TikTok video shared by user Spencer Carter showing her efforts to go unnoticed at her first Chiefs game last season.

As The U.S. Sun reported, the newly released video showed Swift wearing a face mask and baseball hat as she entered the stadium for the September 24 game, surrounded by unknowing fans.

Reid added that Kelce has never shied away from the attention he’s getting with Swift, saying he “can handle it.” The Chiefs coach pointed out that Kelce has a big hit with his “New Heights” podcast that he cohosts with brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
