The 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend has been amazing so far, much like the rest of the season has been. The stars have been shining bright already, and they haven’t even played in the All-Star game yet. A lot of the entertainment thus far has been some great interviews and outfits, but the skills challenges may have taken the cake.

Atlanta Dream star guard Allisha Gray won both the skills challenge and three-point contest, becoming the first player to do so on the same night. After this incredible success, Gray’s former college coach Dawn Staley took to Twitter to deliver a congratulations to Gray, saying “when ‘it’s a possibility’, becomes a reality”.

This is an amazing way to phrase this message from Staley, as it is a testament to how hard Gray worked for this. She even added a very playful note as the end about needing a check after Gray won $110,000, which was a remarkable achievement. In fact, it was more than double her rookie salary in the WNBA. Just an amazing night all-around for Gray.
