Billie Eilish, the idolized singer of the youth, has been open about psychological issues and body insecurities with her fans. This has created a great deal of empathy between Billie Eilish and her fans. However, perhaps the most surprising revelation came recently when Eilish admitted that she used to be addicted to “dark” movies since the age of 11.
Billie Eilish stated that constantly watching “dark” movies during her teenage years changed the way her brain functions, and she even believes that this harmful habit “destroyed” her brain.
Eilish revealed that she started watching “dark” movies at the age of 11 because she didn’t know how to refuse harmful things. This bad habit caused her a lot of difficulties and obstacles when entering adulthood and starting to date.
Billie Eilish will turn 20 this Saturday. In an interview on American radio earlier this week, Eilish said, “I believe that ‘dark’ movies are something bad, terrible. But I used to watch a lot of ‘dark’ movies, to be honest. I started watching this harmful content when I was only 11 years old.”
At first, Eilish thought it was a cool thing to do, but as she gained more understanding, she reconsidered: “I think the bad habit I had destroyed my brain, making me feel depressed to the point where it’s hard to describe. I’ve watched too many ‘dark’ movies.”
I was even haunted by nightmares due to some of the violent and gruesome content I watched.”
