Candace Owens Mocks and Votes to Ban Eminem from TV in Response to New Album Trolls: ‘He’s So Desperate to Show Black People That He’s Real’

Candace Owens has recently responded with scorn and derision to Eminem’s new album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” particularly to two tracks where the rapper takes aim at the conservative pundit. Owens, a well-known political commentator, was mentioned in the songs “Lucifer” and “Bad One,” with Eminem criticizing her affiliations and actions.

In “Lucifer,” Eminem refers to Owens as a “tramp” and comments on her ties to former President Donald Trump’s “MAGA” movement and Kanye West’s “White Lives Matter” apparel. The lyrics, as cited by Genius, include:

“And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her (Ah) I ain’t gon’ throw the fact bitch forgot she was Black back at her Laugh at her like them crackers she’s backin’ after her back is turned In a cute MAGA hat with her brand-new White Lives Matter shirt (Haha, nope) Or say this MAGA dirtbag in a skirt Just opened the biggest can of worms on the whole planet Earth Call her ‘Grand Wizard’ (Yeah), ‘Klandace’ (Haha), or ‘Grand Dragon,’ or Like the national anthem, I won’t stand for the tramp (Why?) But I can’t diss her ’cause my plans are to get in her pants and I’ll blow my chance if I answer back to her”

In the track “Bad One,” Eminem further accuses Owens of betraying her race:

“Yeah, this whole sub-genre with all these corny white rappers, I’m not a fan of it It ain’t my fault, but like sock puppets, I had a hand in it This thousand bucks in my hand is just like what Candace did When she turned her back on her own race ’cause I have abandoned it”

Owens responded to these tracks on her YouTube show, Candace Live, where she criticized Eminem, labeling him a “struggling internally gay man.” She argued that his attempts to pander to Black audiences are transparent and insincere. Owens remarked, “First thing I want to say is Eminem is obviously a gay man. It’s very sad that Eminem cleaned out his closet but never came out of his closet.”

Owens further accused Eminem of recycling insults that Black women have previously used against her on the internet. She called him “out of touch” and suggested that he is trying to regain relevance by appealing to Black Americans. She stated, “You’re the one that’s actually cosplaying a race that you aren’t. You’re desperate for Black Americans to pick up your tracks because you abandoned the audience of a lot of people who were listening to your music.”

In an interview with TMZ Live, Owens doubled down on her criticism, likening Eminem’s behavior to Hillary Clinton’s infamous “hot sauce moment” during her 2016 presidential campaign. Owens argued that Eminem’s use of derogatory terms for white people is hypocritical and makes him seem elitist. She commented, “This is just not the way for someone’s career to go down the drain and I want us all to do our part to help make Eminem relevant again, at the very least.”

Candace Owens concluded by suggesting that Eminem should retire from music and focus on being a grandfather, stating, “His daughter’s beautiful. She just got married. I think he just needs to go ahead and be a grandpa.”

The ongoing feud between Owens and Eminem highlights the broader cultural and political divisions that both figures represent, with each using their platforms to criticize and mock the other.
