After Alcaraz won in straight sets, the Princess of Wales walked onto the court to present the trophies to both players, which is part of her public duties as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC).

She exchanged words with both players and applauded Alcaraz after handing him the golden Wimbledon trophy for the second straight year.

Prior to the match, Catherine was greeted by a standing ovation from the Centre Court crowd as she took her seat in the Royal Box with Princess Charlotte. It’s her second public appearance this year after the Trooping the Colors in June.

Congratulations to both Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia)!

The Princess of Wales radiated under the London sunshine as she graced the final day of the Wimbledon Championship this year. She wore a bright purple midi dress from Safiyaa. Wishing her a speedy recovery!
