The actor was sentenced to a counseling program and avoided jail time after being convicted of assaulting and harassing Grace Jabbari.
Actor Jonathan Majors, 34, has been sentenced to one year of domestic violence counseling and no jail time following his conviction for assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The court ordered him to complete a 52-week batterer’s intervention program and adhere to a no-contact order with Jabbari. Failure to comply could result in a year of imprisonment.
During her emotional statement in response to Majors’ lawyer, Jabbari expressed her ex-boyfriend’s lack of remorse. She claimed that he had not accepted responsibility for his actions and believed himself to be above the law. Accusing Majors of manipulation, she described feeling isolated from her family and friends while in a relationship with him.
Jabbari recounted feeling emotionally dependent on Majors and becoming a different, vulnerable person around him. She detailed an altercation in March 2023, alleging that Majors physically attacked her in a car after accusing her of jealousy over a text message. According to Jabbari, Majors twisted her arm and fractured her finger during the incident.
In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment violations against Jabbari. Consequently, Marvel Studios and the Walt Disney Company removed him from all future projects.
