For a league as stacked as the WNBA, selecting the twelve best players to represent Team USA is not easy. There will always be a few people left out. This year, a couple of names stood out as snubs.

Arike Ogunbowale and Caitlin Clark were two of the names mentioned by many fans. To them, the two deserved a spot over some of the veterans on the roster.

Ahead of their Olympics opener, A’ja Wilson reiterated that this was their best team. The Las Vegas Aces center discussed USA’s roster in an interview with Michele Steele.

“I feel like we have more than enough in our locker room to execute whatever gameplan we have,” Wilson said.

Being the overwhelming favorite to win it all is not as easy as it sounds. There’s a lot of pressure on the women’s squad to be dominant. Still, Wilson believes that Team USA has all the tools they need to succeed, no matter who’s on the roster.
