Jason Kelce has officially confirmed that he’s retiring from the NFL, making the emotional announcement during a press conference in Philadelphia.
After giving a lengthy speech to the crowd, Jason said “So this all brings us here to today, where I announce that I am retiring. Where I announce I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and today, I must admit, I am officially overrated, vastly overrated.”

He added, “It took a lot of hard work and determination getting here. I have been the underdog my entire career, and I mean this when I say it: I wish I still was.” He went on to thank his teammates as well as his family—including Travis Kelce who was in the crowd and visibly emotional.
