Lil Wayne previously complained about the service quality at the Crypto.com Arena during the Lakers vs. Wizards game on March 1st.

The five-time Grammy-winning rapper stated that the security staff at the arena did not show him respect. According to Wayne, this stems from his criticism of Anthony Davis back in November.

“Oh!” Lil Wayne tweeted. “I was treated very poorly at the Lakers game, but I guess sooner or later they’ll do that to me for what I’ve said. I get it though, I’m used to it.”

Lil Wayne accused the security staff of disrespecting him when moving to his seat. They wanted Wayne to wait in line, but instead of politely asking, the staff behaved rudely. The rapper also added that he had never encountered these security personnel before, so they were not the usual staff he encounters at Lakers games.

What did Lil Wayne say about Anthony Davis?
In November, Wayne called on the Lakers to consider trading Anthony Davis. He emphasized that the Lakers would not be able to win another championship with Davis.

“If the Lakers want to be champions… they have to get rid of AD,” the rapper said after the Lakers’ early-season struggles.

Lil Wayne believed that Davis was too injury-prone, unable to deliver consistent performances throughout the season, and that the Lakers did not necessarily need another superstar alongside LeBron James.

As Wayne could not prove whether his comments about Davis were related to the incident at the Lakers vs. Wizards game or not, the rapper’s words were not widely supported. Additionally, Wayne recently admitted that Davis has played better since November, even in Lakers’ losses.
