Travis Kelce’s father confirmed the NFL icon won’t see Taylor Swift  as of now. This might shock many fans of her, some of which has immense love and admiration for this couple. However, please rest assureds that this is not permanent, and is only until she heads into her next Eras Tour break as the Kansas City Chiefs offensive star prepares to resume his quest for a fourth Super Bowl ring.

It means that whilst she will continue with shows in Germany, Poland, Austria and the United Kingdom, they won’t have much time to see each other although Ed Kelce says that she is keen to get back to Missouri sharpish to see how her renovation project has been going.

“Taylor’s been having fun decorating his Kansas City [place],” Ed Kelce wrote on Facebook. “And she’s looking forward to the simple joys of being together.”

Swift will continue to perform in Europe until concluding her time on the continent with a show in London at Wembley Stadium on August 20. She will then take break before resuming the tour on October 18 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

By that stage, Kelce will be deep into the NFL season, attempting to spur the Chiefs on to another AFC West title. His closest game to the time of the Eras Tour resumption will be their Week 7 fixture the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, October 19.

Ed Kelce gets protective over Swift

Swift and Kelce had a scary moment in Gelsenkirchen in Germany when a man was arrested whilst attempting to get into the Veltins Arena on suspicion of stalking and making threatening behavior against them online.

A Greek man was arrested and remanded in custody until the pair left the city, and although he was several thousands of miles away, Ed Kelce got pretty defensive of his potential daughter-in-law online.

“Love to know who this some-b**** is,” Ed Kelce said on Facebook, earning the praise of the fans of the 34-year-old pop star.

On July 8, 2023, Travis Kelce saw Taylor Swift perform for the first time and attempted to shoot his shot with her.

While it may feel like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story began in the blink of a crinkling eye, it’s officially been one full year since that fateful day in July 2023 that the football pro attended one of her Eras Tour shows, setting into motion a romance seemingly beyond both of their wildest dreams.

Their high-profile couple continues to dominate headlines after a year of public outings, world travel and professional milestones. Between Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour and Kelce’s wide-ranging career endeavors, a source told ET on June 14 the couple is committed to making their relationship a priority.

“Taylor and Travis make sure that the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn’t last very long. They both move their schedules around if it’s feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other, as well as each other’s families and friends,” the source said. “They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy. Their relationship is genuine and they both want to make it work, so it does.”

The source added, “Taylor and Travis definitely see a long-term future together and things are continuing to move in that direction. Their shared values and love of family keeps them connected.”

As the well-known story goes, their relationship got started after the Kansas City Chiefs player attended Taylor’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 8, 2023 and fumbled when he tried to give the “Blank Space” singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.

Less than one year later, Kelce found himself making an onstage appearance at Swift’s London stop on her Eras Tour.

In between there were date nights, magazine covers, PDA, a Super Bowl victory and the release of Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
