Clark declared her intention to enter the 2024 WNBA Draft on February 29. Reese, on the other hand, had always planned to decide post the LSU Tigers’ season and made her announcement on April 3 after the team’s loss in the Final 4 to Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.
Acknowledged as an exceptional talent, Clark is already seen as a future member of the Fever. Notably, the WNBA recently disclosed that 36 out of Indiana’s 40 games will be broadcasted nationally, with 13 games set to air on NBA TV.

Angel Reese, aged 21, led the Tigers to a national championship victory last year, defeating Clark’s Hawkeyes in the final match. Reese was also honored as the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, contributing 15 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in the 102-85 triumph.
Clark, a recipient of the AP Player of the Year award twice, exits the NCAA as the all-time leading scorer in Division 1. She clinched three scoring titles and led the NCAA in assists for three consecutive years during her tenure with the Hawkeyes.
Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese Will Be WNBA Game-Changers
Clark and Reese have special legacies as two of the most dominant and beloved athletes of their era. If their meetings in college weren’t exciting enough, just wait until the two future WNBA legends compete in the pros.
Their respective all-world skills will make Clark and Reese difference-makers in the WNBA. We obviously don’t know yet where Reese will land in the draft, but the bottom line is that both she and Clark will bring countless compelling storylines to the WNBA this year.
