The Indiana Fever produced three players for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game: Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.

Clark burst onto the scene as the Fever’s No. 1 overall pick and has already established herself as one of the best passers in the league.

The former Iowa superstar leads the entire WNBA with 8.2 assists per game, and recently set the all-time assist record with 19 in a single game.

Mitchell fully recognizes Clark’s passing talent. Before this past Saturday’s All-Star Game, the Fever veteran praised her rookie teammate’s elite passing ability.

In doing so, Mitchell compared Clark to all-time great NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.

“A lot of people don’t understand this about Caitlin… you don’t know where those passes are going. Your IQ has to match hers.

“[She’s like] Peyton Manning. Indianapolis’ finest.”

Clark is well on her way to setting the all-time rookie assist record. The 22-year-old WNBA superstar already has 213 assists at the midway point of her rookie campaign. Ticha Penicheiro currently holds the record with 225 in her 1998 rookie season.

Clark, Mitchell and the Fever will resume their 2024 WNBA season with a matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on August 16.
