It’s safe to say that Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese loved her moment with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark during the WNBA All-Star Game.

Reese and Clark were teammates as part of Team WNBA that faced off against Team USA during Saturday’s showdown. While Clark started in the game, Reese came off the bench.

It took some time before the two connected on a play, but when they did, fans inside Footprint Center cheered loudly and celebrated while a lot of viewers went crazy online.

Midway through the fourth quarter as Clark attacked the rim, she found Reese with some open space under the basket. After perfectly delivering the ball to her teammate, the Sky forward got the job done with a sweet lay-up.

Making the moment even better, the two dapped up each other following the play.

Reese didn’t comment specifically about the play, but what she did on social media was enough to show how she felt about it. The 22-year-old reposted a video of Clark’s pass to her, highlighting that she liked it.

Both Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark made history in the game, too. The Sky All-Star became the first rookie to record a double-double in an All-Star Game after she finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while the Fever sharpshooter finished with 10 assists for the most All-Star dimes for a rookie.

The two players are expected to play more All-Star Games in the future, and there will surely be plenty more opportunities to see them team-up and make plays together.
