With WNBA All-Star Weekend underway, which began on Friday, No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark participated for the first time in style.

Clark took to the court Friday for a Team WNBA practice session at Phoenix’s Footprint Center, and fans couldn’t help but notice what she was wearing on her feet.

The Indiana Fever star guard wore a special pair of Nike Kobe 6 Protro sneakers specifically made for the event.

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, teased them earlier in the week on Instagram as the “WNBA All-Star.”

The shoes were not exclusive to Clark; Arike Ogunbowale also wore the pair and shared the sneakers on her Instagram story.

The former Iowa standout is currently in the midst of a tremendous rookie season with the Fever.

Caitlin Clark Signs Historic Deal With Nike

Caitlin Clark made headlines by signing a groundbreaking endorsement deal with Nike earlier this year.

Rachel Bachman of the Wall Street Journal previously reported that Clark made history when she signed a deal with Nike worth $28 million over eight years.

The Wall Street Journal further added Adidas and Under Armour also spoke with Clark regarding an endorsement deal.

Clark previously had a name, image, and likeness deal with Nike during her time at Iowa, but it expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Her newest deal is the most lucrative endorsement deal for a women’s basketball player in history.
