Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin has been busy during the WNBA’s Olympic break. Just days after returning to her alma mater to deliver a stirring message for the current Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team, the 24-year-old headed to Kansas City to get herself some MLB action on Saturday.

Martin was an esteemed guest in the matchup between the Kansas City Royals and the Chicago Cubs, as the Aces guard was asked to throw the honorary first pitch for the contest.

Many other celebrities and athletes have failed miserably with this task, so there was definitely a bit of pressure on Martin to get it right.

Based on what WNBA fans have been saying on X, formerly Twitter, it is clear that they have been left impressed by Martin’s pitching prowess.

“Just great at everything 🤷‍♀️” commented a fan.

“All right, you represented!💫” read one of the comments.

“That was a better throw than Steven A Smith & 50 cent!!!” stated a supporter.

“She made that look 👀 way too easy…you go Kate‼️” said another.
