Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is off enjoying her Olympic break, but what she has done so far in her first WNBA season is nothing short of spectacular.

Not only did Clark make the WNBA All-Star team, but she leads the league in assists with 8.2 a game and she broke the record for the most in a single game. Clark also recorded the first-ever triple-double by a rookie and nearly recorded a second one, coming one rebound shy.

On Sunday, a new statistic emerged, and it proves even further that Clark’s rookie season has been remarkable.

Through 26 games, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star already has more career assists than 75.4% of all WNBA players ever.

On the season, Clark has a total of 213 assists, nearly 50 more than the next-highest, which is Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas who has 182.

WNBA fans were amazed by this new stat and needed just one word to describe Clark: “Crazy.”
