Crystal Pittman: “I Will Never Run from a Fight“

Los Angles, CA — Crystal Pittman earned her second straight stoppage at BKFC

Los Angles, CA — Crystal Pittman earned her second straight stoppage at BKFC KnuckleMania 4 on Saturday, knocking out Sidney Smith inside of a minute in the opening round, a counter hook closing out her night.

With back-to-back wins, there’s now talk of a bout with 125lb champ Christine Ferea, who suggested a move up in weight for the match-up. That’s a fight Pittman appears to be excited for.

“I just found that out too. I know if she’d come up to 135, I truly feel like I’m the Queen of the 135 division. So I’m absolutely open for her to come up there,” Pitmann told media outlets including Cageside Press following the event. “I will greet her with open arms, I will never run from a fight. That’s my division.”

Asked whether there was anyone comparable to herself that BKFC could line up for her, Pitmann gave the division props before questioning the notion.

“Comparable to me? I just feel like the women’s division is constantly growing. All of the women have great talent and stuff,” stated Pitmann.

“Bareknuckle is very, very different. You either have the grit or you don’t, and you can’t last. So maybe they might try it out, but as far as comparable, like I said I feel like I’m the 135 Queen right now,” Pittman said with a laugh. “I guess we’re just going to have to see.”
