Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson & John Cena MOCKED and IMITATED POORLY by former champion on SmackDown

Prior to Fastlane’s arrival at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, SmackDown’s go-home edition is still building. A thrilling matchup between Dragon Lee and Austin Theory, the previous US Champion, launched his blue brand run.

However, Theory displayed his arrogant side and made fun of The Rock and John Cena before being destroyed by the new addition to the main roster.

Austin Theory made a cocky claim before tasting defeat at the hands of Dragon Lee tonight

Prior to facing Lee, the 26-year-old superstar was as composed and confident as ever. The Theory took hold of the microphone and referred to himself as the $150 million hitman.

In addition, he boasted of defeating WrestleMania icon John Cena. Additionally, he mentioned how a few weeks prior, he had also humbled Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But Dragon Lee got his loudmouth to shut up.

Grayson Waller attempted to support Theory during the bout, but Cameron Grimes leveled the playing field and let Dragon Lee win.

The rest of the WWE community feels that Theory became a much bigger figure since he disagreed with Dwayne Johnson on the September 15, SmackDown broadcast, even if Theory continues to act in the same extravagant manner on screen.

The Rock surely acted as a guardian angel to many wrestlers in the past, like Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, and others, in terms of uplifting new generations. The 26-year-old appears to be its most recent recipient at this point.

Even though The Rock was a household celebrity in Holywood, his incredible WWE career helped establish his reputation. Despite having a very brief lifespan, The Great One accomplished enough brilliance to serve as a significant stepping stone for those just starting out.

Early in his career, Austin Theory gained the chance to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the business, including Rey Mysterio and John Cena. But his standing in the organization was solidified a few weeks back when he antagonized the Brahma Bull on SmackDown. Dutch Mantell, the GM of WWE, thinks so, anyway.

The seasoned observer believes Theory will undoubtedly rise following his run-in with Johnson. He believes he become a true star on SmackDown 15/10 evening. That night, Theory not only held his own against the greatest of all time, but he was also probably the best talker in the business, so he deserves a lot of credit for that.

It will be interesting to watch how WWE uses the momentum going forward.
